Did you know you can use a hat to take photographs?
These images were shot with this hat:
Leaving the camera shutter opens allows the moving lights of the cars to turn to those ever-lovely light trails. but, leaving it open for too long blows-out the highlights on my client’s banner.
I could multiple expose a few frames and composite…or I could keep the shutter open and simply cover the lens with the hat when I’m waiting for a traffic light change. As soon as the traffic flows again, remove the hat and hey presto…a balanced frame. So that’s how you take a photograph with a hat!
